The AHA! Club is a free STEAM program for girls ages 8-12 and 13-15 designed to inspire creativity, confidence and curiosity.
Each week we take girls on a mental journey around the world - exploring geography, architecture, nature etc. while empowering them to break stigmas and see themselves are future scientists, engineers and innovators.
It's all about discovery, skill-building, and showing girls that STEAM careers are for the
De AHA! Club is een gratis STEAM-programma voor meisjes van 8–12 en 13–15 jaar, ontworpen om creativiteit, zelfvertrouwen en nieuwsgierigheid te stimuleren.
Elke week nemen wij meisjes mee op een mentale reis rond de wereld – waar we geografie, architectuur, natuur en meer verkennen – terwijl we hen versterken om stigma’s te doorbreken en zichzelf te zien als toekomstige wetenschappers, ingenieurs en innovators.
Het draait om ontdekken, vaardigheden ontwikkelen en meisjes laten zien dat een toekomst in STEAM ook voor hen is.

SO WHAT'S THE AHA! CLUB?
It is a space where curiosity is protected.
Where questions are welcomed.
Where girls build, experiment, create and discover —
without fear of being “wrong.”
At AHA! Club, STEAM is not taught as a school subject.
It is experienced.
Girls mix ingredients and learn chemistry.
They measure and discover math.
They build and understand engineering.
They code and explore technology.
They design and express art.
We help girls recognize something powerful:
STEAM is not something outside of them.
It is already part of who they are.
De AHA! Club. Het is een plek waar nieuwsgierigheid wordt beschermd.
Waar vragen welkom zijn.
Waar meisjes bouwen, experimenteren, creëren en ontdekken —
zonder angst om “fout” te zijn.
Bij de AHA! Club wordt STEAM niet onderwezen als een schoolvak. Het wordt beleefd.
Meisjes mengen ingrediënten en leren chemie.
Ze meten en ontdekken wiskunde.
Ze bouwen en begrijpen engineering.
Ze programmeren en verkennen technologie.
Ze ontwerpen en uiten zich via kunst.
Wij helpen meisjes iets krachtigs te herkennen:
STEAM is niet iets buiten henzelf.
Het maakt al deel uit van wie zij zijn

OUR COMMUNITY - ONZE GEMEENSCHAP
AHA! Club is rooted in community
We believe meaningful change begins from the inside out — strengthening children within their own neighborhoods and connecting learning to everyday life.
Our community ecosystem connects children, parents, volunteers, educators, professionals, and institutional partners — working together to make science visible in neighborhood spaces.
Through structured, engaging STEAM experiences, we create spaces where children explore, build, question, and discover — supported by a community that believes in their growth.
In 2025, we reached 201 children through structured STEAM programming, hands-on events, company visits, and participation in the national Weekend van de Wetenschap.
In 2026, the focus is on structured thematic collaboration.
Looking ahead to 2027, we move toward a broader community STEAM mobilization initiative.
AHA! Club is more than an activity.
It is a growing network of people who believe science belongs everywhere.

Onze Community
AHA! Club is geworteld in de wijk.
Wij geloven dat echte verandering van binnenuit begint — door kinderen in hun eigen buurt te versterken en leren te verbinden met het dagelijks leven. Ons community-ecosysteem verbindt kinderen, ouders, vrijwilligers, educators, professionals en institutionele partners — die samen wetenschap zichtbaar maken in de wijk. Door middel van gestructureerde en inspirerende STEAM-activiteiten creëren wij plekken waar kinderen kunnen ontdekken, bouwen, vragen stellen en experimenteren — ondersteund door een gemeenschap die in hun groei gelooft.
In 2025 bereikten we 201 kinderen via gestructureerde STEAM-programma’s, hands-on evenementen, bedrijfsbezoeken en deelname aan het nationale Weekend van de Wetenschap. In 2026 ligt de focus op thematische samenwerkingen in gestructureerde blokken.
Richting 2027 werken we toe naar een bredere community-brede STEAM-mobilisatie.
AHA! Club is meer dan een activiteit. Het is een groeiend netwerk van mensen die geloven dat wetenschap overal thuishoort.
